Denise van Veen’s journey weaves together decades of professional excellence, deep soul-listening, and an unwavering devotion to compassionate service. Her path began right after college, when she stepped into leadership of her family’s printing business following her father’s cancer diagnosis. From there, she entered the world of marketing—first as a print buyer for RL Polk, and later co-creating an in-house Marketing Department for the National Basketball Association.

Over 11 years with the NBA, Denise rose to Director of Events, organizing domestic and international experiences across New York, New Jersey, and Paris, France. Her work was expansive and dynamic—yet life had more to reveal.

While living in France for 20 years, her voice found new expression through the written word. She co-authored and co-edited two educational guides—“The AAWE Guide to Education in France” and “Beyond the Bac – Higher Education in France and Abroad”—supporting bilingual and bicultural families navigating cross-cultural learning journeys.

As her professional life evolved, Denise followed a deeper inner calling—stepping into a more sacred kind of service. She became a devoted volunteer and space-holder, serving on the Boards of Trustees for the Lycée International in Saint-Germain-en-Laye and the Association of American Women in Europe (AAWE). She trained as an Active Listener for Cancer Support France, where her innate gift for presence and emotional attunement became clear.

As a Women’s Journey Community Ambassador for Johns Hopkins, she participated in fundraising for All Children’s Hospital, supporting the Maternal, Fetal, and Neonatal Institute—bridging her strength in action with her care for the unseen and the vulnerable.

Today, Denise is fully rooted in her true calling—as an intuitive guide, empath, and spiritual companion. Her recent life experiences deepened her path of awakening and service, guiding others to remember the wisdom they carry within. With grace and clarity, she helps her clients return to balance, healing, and spiritual growth.
